Pet Idol doesn’t come with much small print but there are a few things that are worth making clear
Any recorded pet sound deemed to have been captured by using cruel methods WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
By submitting a recording of your pet, you agree that Pet Idol will consider every sound for inclusion in the composition. This includes background noise, even human voices. (This can actually make the track even more entertaining and personal)
Pet Idol reserves the right to retain any submitted audio for future projects, remixes, reworks, or remasters.
Play, share, and enjoy your Pet Idol track privately and publicly without limits
All ownership, copyright, and mechanical rights of Pet Idol works are the exclusive property of Pet Idol (care of Jon McKenzie)
Commercial use of any Pet Idol track is strictly prohibited by any party other than the original copyright holder (as above)
Finished Pet Idol tracks will be emailed directly to the customer in mp3 format.
On completion, you will be asked for permission for the work to be distributed to streaming platforms and social media sites. You don’t have to accept but this will make it easier for you so share and enjoy. Failure to respond with 2 weeks will be taken as consent.
All streaming royalities earned by Pet Idol music goes exclusively to Pet Idol – Honestly, it’s absolute peanuts. If I sent you a cheque, you’d owe me change for the stamp.
I genuinely hope you love your Pet Idol track but, with music being subjective, I can’t guarantee with absolute certainty that it will be to your taste. If you’re unhappy with your final product, get in touch and I may be able to change certain elements. Please check out Pet Soundz and other Pet Idol works to get a feel for the general style before you purchase.
I cannot offer refunds. Payment is for the process. Audio sampling, composition, recording, mixing, and mastering. The final track is essentially free.
Any video/audio submitted may be used in social media to promote the business or demonstrate the process
