You don’t need fancy studio equipment to record your pet. You can use your phone to take a voicenote or even a video. The hardest part is having to follow them around to get the sounds you love.

You can record them at feeding time, relaxing, or during play. You can submit multiple short clips or one longer clip. I’ll process the recording to isolate the sounds I need.

Try to record indoors and limit the amount of background noise you pick up. It’s also worth noting that many collars can jangle and claws on hard floors can create a lot of interference too.

If recording outdoors, try to avoid windy areas or busy roads. Too much interference make for poor quality samples.

Don’t worry, if I find your audio too hard to work with for any reason I’ll contact you and arrange a do-over. I won’t proceed until we get the best audio possible.
